Trump’s mass deportation threat spreads fear in New York’s Little Senegal • FRANCE 24 English

On the campaign trail, president-elect Donald Trump vowed mass deportations of illegal immigrants. He recently named Matt Gaetz as his attorney general, described by Trump’s inner circle as key to those plans. Some areas with larger numbers of immigrants are worried about what the plans could mean for them. Morgan Ayre visited New York’s Little Senegal, home to a large African diaspora, where Trump’s threats have brought fear to the community.

  1. Yes! Send them back to, alot of Africans come here and think they better than American blacks and don't like to support black American owned businesses here…
They come to our country for resources but hate us. Too many hateful people come here!!

  2. FBA invest 🤑💰 in africa they murder and destroy their communities in africa. Afraid to fight rights from lice 🪲 lebanese indians chinese and europeane in africa 🌍 shame.

  3. Why do foreigners think we’re bluffing? Trump has a mandate from the people for mass deportations. Threatening to arrest business owners who hire illegals alone will help self deport millions. Freezing remittances, round ups, and threatening to arrest property owners.

  4. The subject is getting thousands of views! Its all show folks dont worry. We have laws in place and lawyers ready to get that money. Lol so relax

  5. Fanbase? Voters are not a fanbase. We are the rightful citizens of this country who pay an exorbitant amount of taxes and who no longer want to provide support for people illegally entering into this country.
