  1. This is horrible, a far greater effort to deal with this poor segment of the Ukrainian population should have started way back. At the same time, I find it great that a Ukrainian media source had no problem talking about this openly, even though it’s a really bad look for the government. Go freedom!

  2. I’m sure uncle Volodja will take good “care” of them. The men will go to the front, kids to brainwashing centres and women… well.

  3.  These reports and news articles are slowly preparing the west for a defeat. An imperialistic aggressor, a nuke and security council member gets away with the first and biggest annexation war post WW2.

All because the west – but especially the EU – is lead by a bunch of cowards. Pathetic.

  4. The russian occupiers will look at them as spies/saboteurs so it its a tough choice for them

  5. Very sad! War needs to end ans Ukraine needs to win! 💪🏼

  6. Those who are suitable for this, in my opinion, based on historical phenomena related to Russia, will be used like cannon fodder. Those who are not suitable will probably be a burden to Russia.

  7. I don’t get it – Russia is doing outright genocide of Ukrainians and thy still want to move to areas occupied by russia? Inconceivable!

  8. A sign of the times to come. As soon as they understand what the EU means, they will return from there, too. At least the EU doesn’t kill them.

  9. Why exactly are people shocked

Yes Russia has a horrible shitty government, but its economy is still better than Ukraine’s and it is their homes

  10. They aren’t all Ukrainians, mostly Russians. Just like thousands who came to Estonia are actually Russians who lived in eastern Ukraine

  11. Bit of a bad timing, hopefully Russia can bring them to a safer place.

  12. There is one essential piece of information here – russians notified they will confiscate property of people that won’t claim it till 2025. This is very important point here. People try to save their homes. There are people that come back even from Poland, Germany and other trying to save their property.

  13. How is the occupied region doing economically better than the alternatives?

  14. “data from Russian officials” is all you need to know about this “article”.

  15. I but I’ve been told time and time again and been banned from many places because no such people ever existed and it’s just propaganda… how curious that state controlled Ukrainian media talks about them.

  16. I have spoken with a Ukrainian guy once, he told me he and the majority of people wouldn’t mind that the Russians occupied Ukraine without war. Well it’s his perspective but I wonder how much more general this is?

  17. Just letting everyone know, this is probably the most propagandized thing that Russia prioritizes. Keep your feet on the ground when discerning the facts.
