  32. There are so many horrible things that russia and Putin has done. So much incompetence on every level that you would be excused if you thought it was their national sport. But the only truly bright mind in this whole shitshow is Nabulyina.

    What she did is nothing short of a miracle. They burned their reserves, don’t get me wrong, but she did manage to make it *look* like things are okayish for almost three years. She is complicit in allowing this monstrosity of a *country* to function and wage war, but I at least respect her as a professional.

    Having said that – I hope they will put some Putin bootlicker in her place, then there is a hope for an accelerated financial crash. And having in mind Solovyov is definitely not a free thinker – I hope these theatrical outbursts are a good indication that this will soon become an official kremlin position.

Nabiullina seems to be the only true patriot Russia has ever had. When she’s gone, the economy will go downhill. The Russian elite cannot criticize Putin. That’s why they attack the head of the central bank. It will be interesting how this turns out.
