  1. Saw both, wicked has a good story, didn’t care for the singing and I like musicals. Gladiator was struggling a bit… I get it that it’s hard to overcome the original masterpiece. Both worth seeing at some point… but I was looking for a paradigm shifting movie and neither delivered. The era of good film still eludes us.

  2. I was actually complaining that there were no movies worth watching in theaters this year. Both of these movies ended up being a lot better than i expected

    Wicked obviously won’t appeal to musical haters and Gladiator won’t appeal to those looking for a plot heavy movie

  4. I started gladiator 2 and gave up during the first fifteen minutes.

  5. Saw Gladiator 2 and actually was pleasantly surprised. Denzel did a fantastic job. As someone else pointed out, the first 15-20 mins are tough to get into but after that it’s smooth sailing.

  6. Just saw Gladiator II in 4DX and had a great time. It has its silly moments and is obviously not as phenomenal as the original but worth seeing on the big screen. It probably works better as a theater movie than an at home watch.

  7. Just saw wicked with my wife. It was actually really good. Great performances by all. We will see gladiator II next week probably
