I don’t know if it’s wise to directly put in those second set of links, especially with these very instigating comments.
The videos and flight info suggests a controlled flight into terrain and no explosion in-flight or anything like that. There was also no mayday call or similar, which would be the case if there’s a fire in the cargo hold. Let the investigators do their work and wait for the results, no reason to speculate hours after a crash.
EDIT: The only source one should ever look for air crash information: [https://avherald.com/h?article=520c0e2b&opt=0](https://avherald.com/h?article=520c0e2b&opt=0)
I don’t know what DHL specifically did to Russia and at this point I’m too afraid to ask.
Current information (Nov 25th, 9:39 a.m.):
No casualties on the ground, the plane barely missed a house. Four crew members on board, all recovered. One of them confirmed deceased, three injured.
Looking at the footage, that fact that there *might* be survivors almost feels like a miracle.
Russia plotted to put incendiary devices on cargo planes. Leipzig (as DHL cargo hub) specifically targeted.

got a couple of friends who work at DHL Leipzig, one of whom is a load master but im pretty sure he’s in dubai or saudi atm…
hopefully nothing nefarious caused this, because this is a tragedy.
