> All the indications show that this would have been a deliberate targeting of journalists: a war crime. This was clearly delineated as a place where journalists were staying,” said Nadim Houry, a human rights lawyer and executive director of the Arab Reform Initiative.

> After the strike, the Israeli military said that it had struck a “Hezbollah military structure” while “terrorists were located inside the structure”. A few hours after the attack, the Israeli army said that the incident was “under review” following reports that journalists were hit in the strike.

> The Guardian found no evidence of the presence of Hezbollah military infrastructure at the site of Israel’s attack, nor that any of the journalists were anything but civilians.
Another day, another war crime by the *world’s most moral army*. I suppose we will soon receive a IDF public statement claiming that any investigations into the repeated airstrikes on civilians can only be motivated by virulent anti-Semitism.
The coffin of one of the journalists, Qassem from al-Manar, was buried wrapped in a Hezbollah flag. The practice is an honorific for people or families who profess political support for the group, but does not indicate that the journalist occupied a political or military role in Hezbollah.
When a normal Palestinian dies he or she is covered by the Palestinian flag. When a Hezbollah member dies, he gets the Hezbollah flag. I’m just pointing this out when journalists attached to the Hezbollah group were present on the 7th of October attack.
Oh yes, because the world has shown a impeccable commitment to enforcing war crimes and Israel will definitely take these allegations seriously.
It is seriously depressing to see the writing on the wall: rules are only for the oppressed, and people are content to watch from the sidelines, shake their head, and wait for the next atrocity to lament over.
Over 150 journalists have been killed, most being Palestinians. This is a clear attempt to silence those that would show conflicting accounts of what the Israelis are trying to gaslight the world world with.
Shooting the messenger makes the message hard to get out, but doesn’t change the fact.
Killing journalists is just one of many war crimes they have committed
