Currently at home with a broken wrist and hand after falling from a ladder . I was on the third step . No i am not ok
True story- my aunt broke her wrist a couple of weeks ago while out walking. She said it was a dogs fault. ‘What? Did it attack you? Or trip you up?’ Nope, whilst *looking at it from afar* she stepped into a bit of a divot and fell over 🤦
Borrowing that…
The only major consequence from a fall Fred Dibnah ever had was when he fell from a small footstool in his daughter’s bedroom when he was doing some DIY.
It’s not the fall that hurts, it’s the hitting the floor / anything on the way down. (Although height does increase velocity)
I’ve a buddy whose dad is like that… he sent him a text to wish him a happy fathers day, quick as lightning came the response, “i’m not your dad”
