  3. I posted previously that the only reason raw milk-related diseases aren’t going to wash over our idiot country is that a gallon costs 3-4x that of a normal gallon of pasteurized

  20. Raw milk is idiotic. There are only imagined benefits and serious dangers that have been forgotten by our collective consciousness because we’ve been drinking pasteurized milk for generations. Sure, give your kids raw milk from a supermarket, before long you’ll be googling “hemolytic uremic syndrome,” and, shortly after that, “hemolytic uremic syndrome survival rate.”

  21. Honestly belongs on r/newsofthestupid. The man was an environmental lawyer, he doesn’t know about fucking vaccines or raw milk. A TRT prescription also doesn’t automatically make you a leading health expert, and if it did, well choose someone with a functioning brain. I get gender affirming care for my low T. Pick me. At the very least a portion of my brain hasn’t been eaten by worms I got from eating fucking roadkill.

  23. Can we just call it what it is— unpasteurized— instead of “raw”? Calling it unpasteurized opens up the conversation to what pasteurization is and what it does versus using the marketing term invented by these nutcases.

  24. I remember I had a book about medical breakthroughs growing up. Pasteurization was a huge chapter. The preservation of food is one of the reasons we can have huge urban centers and reliable food supplies.
