to the left is the Dornblüthstraße, to the right is the Versöhnungskirche (Church of Reconciliation).
Far in the back you can see the peaks of the Loschwitz Bridge, commonly referred to as “das Blaue Wunder”.
I choose to take this picture and post it here to show you all that Germany is more than just a baroque downtown. Lots of multi family houses from the years 1871 to 1910 can be seen stretching the districts of Strießen and Blasewitz. Even today Strießen holds the largest amount of population out of all Dresden Districts.
It’s surprising seeing that much between houses. 👌🏼 where i’m at the houses are often side by side sharing a wall or have a much more narrow space between them.
