1. More interesting than the drop after the hurricane is the increase before it.

2. I’m in New Orleans and I don’t find this surprising in the least. Who would want to be named after a catastrophe of epic proportions, which was not only a weather disaster but also a series of human failures and misjudgments that caused the unnecessary deaths of so many?
