One of the most consistent things about Trump’s political run has been his close ties to the Heritage Foundation. There are news articles back in 2016 calling them “Trump’s Think Tank.” In 2018 the Heritage Foundation posted an article to their own website (it is still up) stating that Trump had already accomplished 2/3rds of their written plan for his presidency at that time. In 2022, Trump spoke to Heritage and said about them, “they’re going to lay the groundwork and detail plans for exactly what our movement will do.” Those plans are project 2025.
Not talking about it wasn’t fooling anyone except his own voters.
