  11. The president doesn’t have that type of authority. He would need Congress to pass a bill, and then he would be able to sign it.

  12. Y’all know the President isn’t a king, right? Do y’all remember how laws are made, what the president does once they are made? They started the process to look into rescheduling which I believe was performative politics to appear as if they’re being proactive on cannabis. But to become federally legal, both chambers of Congress must pass a bill, once out of committee and passed by both sides, the bill goes to the president to sign into a law.
