I was in Poland for a few days, and now I received this message on my temporary Polish number, is this just some generic message?

  1. The number appears to be legit. Sanepid is the colloquial term for State Sanitary Inspection. You may have been exposed to something.

  2. (22)620 90 01 (if you get a busy, you can try to replace the 1 at the end with digit from 2 to 6) is WSSE Warsaw’s official contact number. Call them back there, not on some random cell phone number. This is very suspicious … they’re not giving fixed line contact info, just some random mobile number that could be owned by anyone.

  6. Everyone talking about it being a scam or not, meanwhile I’m just hyperfixated on the fact that they want you to call before 3 pm… While the message was delivered at 2:30pm

    They doing things like that. My spouse get the l4 (sick leave) and told doctor that she has stomach ache/infection after eating kebab, few days later she received similar sms and after contacting sanepid it turned out that doctor contacted sanepid and told that this particular kebab restaurant that she ate in can cause infection and sanepid opened case and started investigation
