Wero was launched as a EU standard to replace payconiq and other such country based alternatives to have a EU standard. Has anyone used it already? My bank doesn't support this yet but I am hyped to have a standard across EU.

  2. Blijkbaar zit het al in de ING app verwerkt alleen nog niet echt kunnen gebruiken tot zover.
    Ben vooral verast dat ING daar niet hun hele reklame campagne heeft opgestart over hun nieuwe functie…
    Dus eigenlijk een soort Payconic/Tikkie op Europees level?

  4. Oh great, another thing Keytrade Bank can now fuck up. They still don’t even allow QR codes in Payconiq between friends.

  5. It’s in my fortis app but all it does is generate QR codes like payconiq? Don’t see a way to send money, nor a way to create a payment request that’s not a QR code (a link i can send to someone that’s not physically present to scan the code)

    With a bit of luck I can try it after they implement it in Q1 2045.

  7. No. I have been using Instant SEPA transfers for the past decade to transfer money to others within 30 seconds.

    Other than winning an ugly name contest why would we need Wero?

  8. nope, don’t see any reason to as payconiq does everything I need and I don’t think anyone even uses wero. I’ll get it when the need arises, till then.
