The new Bulgarian government has very soft demands – in essence:
* Follow the friendship treaty signed between both countries
* Take concrete action to protect anyone with Bulgarian self identity from discrimination (like Bulgaria does for North Macedonians – a person was recently put in jail for making fun of North Macedonian deaths in a crash on a Bulgarian highway on Facebook)
* Remove the communist era anti-bulgarian bullshit from kids textbooks
North Macedonia should simply accept them instead of doing absolutely nothing and trying to find external pressure again. It won’t work.
