  2. Ah yes, an Indian website, with a readership equivalent to around 0,7% of the population of India, is an absolute authority on the future of the EU.

  3. Why would the EU dissolve just when it’s needed most to defend the Democratic world? We’re headed into a really dicey geopolitical situation with authoritarian governments starting to openly partner with each other, we really need to have 2 superpowers in our corner to maintain an advantage

  4. Ah yes because the Euro lost 30% of its value this week, trashed its reputation, had its leader universally perceived as Hitler and is unable to fly anywhere.

Or, perhaps, it’s Russia that will cease to exist within the decade. Because it’s shit.

  5. > The EU, when it was formed, looked at bringing all ‘Christian’ states together. Who was a Christian back then? Catholics or Protestants. But then began the journey of the EU towards the East. Now the thing with Eastern Europe is that the Christianity practised here is different. It is orthodox. It bears much more resemblance to the majority religion of Russia.

This seems like complete bullshit, and makes me think the whole article is propaganda. Were Eastern Orthodox churches really considered not Christian in the 50s? That certainly was not true in my Catholic upbringing.
