Greece needs to buy a few of those
I think real effectiveness should be evaluated later, not now.
Just think what a few of these would do on just one visit on the 50km column. Not just carnage but also the nightmare the column can’t move forward a centimetre. Just sitting ducks for anything that comes next.
First Nagorno-Karabakh in 2020, now this – are we seeing the future of war today?
Are drones so hard to stop or was Russia just not prepared for them? I guess what Im asking, is if Ukraine would benefit a lot from more drones?
Ukraine’s biggest weapon against Russia is it’s brave people. Drones and what not is just there to make their day a bit easier. Slava Ukraini!
[In 2021, 27 members of U.S Congress (Tied to Greek and Armenian lobbies) tried to halt sales of Bayraktars. A major lie in the letter was joint production of UAVs with Russia. Whilst in factuality, joint production was stated to be with Ukraine.](https://www.reddit.com/gallery/t5lty3)
Thank you Turkey, we will remember your help for a long time
Hope this makes it clear to a lot of Turcophobes which side is Turkey is on and always has been on.
A lot of people seem to push and categorised us into the Russia, Iran, China category of countries.
We are NATO members, we are members of many European political organisations, we are Western leaning, always have been, always will be. Accept it. Criticise Erdogan alongside us, but don’t push us away as a whole. We are on the same team.
🎶 Bayraktar 🎶
OP’s name is suspicious.
The success of the Bayraktar drones in Ukraine led to the creation of this [absolute banger of a song](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kGVZHLOV60E).

What a dumb nickname you have!
In hindsigth much more should have been done to strength en Ukraine even if it was politically impossible to allow them to join as full members of Nato.
If Ukraine surives as a independent state in some form they have earned their membership many times over in blood, same goes for the European Union.
Is there a way for Turkey to provide more of these quickly to Ukraine? If yes, maybe EU should consider footing a bill for few of them or from international donations.
These drones already removed the tank warfare doctrine, literally. Thank to sanctions, when they announce a sanction, Turks develop another thing
How much do they cost ?
Battle for Ukraine is a battle of Europe, yet it is Turkey that is willing to risk by contributing the key technology to defeat Russia.
