Does anyone know something about this black cat sticker that randomly appeared around central london? by ScientistOk3115 Tags:LondonUnited Kingdom 16 comments It’s work by a street artist going by the name @mysterypeepingcat 🙂 yea there’s a few round Bromley too 🐈 It’s called Sticker Art and it’s pretty old at this point. Sources seem to agree that Italian-French artist Clet Abraham started it. But now it could be anyone doing anything, stickers are cheap and street signs plentiful. http://ldngraffiti.co.uk/streetart/street-signs https://mediaengagement.org/research/the-good-the-bad-and-the-sticky/ There is one near the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Woolwich. Banksy did it We have them all over Kent, and some alternatives, some have a bigger head, some with a red mouse looking at the cat face. Also spotted in Dover What format is that date written in? Is it all backwards, since the year is first, or is it year first, then day and month? Cort They’re all over the south east and have been for years. News story from 2020 [here](https://www.kentonline.co.uk/canterbury/news/the-mystery-of-black-cats-on-kent-road-signs-221700/). Thanks for denying me the chance of free pizza They’re all over Tunbridge Wells too – so it’s extended a far way out from London Meow Hmmm Has anyone seen these in NW London? 👀 I see them in Catford which I just thought made sense, didn’t realise they were elsewhere 🤣 Comments are closed.
