Infographic: Where Ukrainian Refugees Are Fleeing to

  1. Can someone give a brief explanation for why Poland is so much higher than fx romania?
Doesn’t both have open doors? Is it simply because more people are close to Poland, or road conditions or something else?

  2. The numbers about other countries might be a lot bigger. The Danish immigration ministry for example does not know how many refugee Ukrainians there are In Denmark.

  3. I hope this kills any rhetoric that “Poland is fascist”, that’s been going on around the past few months.

  4. We have applied at our local Ukrainian church that we can take a small family up to 4 people into our home (Vienna) starting in 2 weeks time. As far as I can tell, Austria hasn’t really had any refugees moving in, that might change soon though I guess.

  5. This is great to see, I really hope Europe welcomes them with open arms. They must be so traumatized by all of this and need help.

Bold strategy, cotton. Lets see if it pays off for them!

In all seriousness, I assume those are Russians who were living in Ukraine, returning to Russia?
