This is my idea: let’s be united on telegram, instagram, YouTube, Facebook and make accounts on VK(russian social media). We need to show facts at every comments section especially at russian news media controlled by Kremlin regime. We need to spread the news everywhere and the truth will be told to Russians. It seems that Russian authorities has its own propaganda and the Russians do not know what is the reality in Ukraine. We can get online in touch with Russians telling them and sharing videos and any information that can open their eyes. There are many proofs that there is no “special military operation” and actually there is a war. Show them videos with towns bombarded and ruined, kids in tears, shocking videos with dead bodies of kids, women, men being killed by Russian troops and videos where russian soldiers are not welcomed with flowers as Kremlin propaganda says and instead of that they are welcomed as Invaders and occupiers. Let’s make this happen. Share this message in every subreddit and hopefully the truth will reach to Russians. Hopefully, with our effort, russian people will get to the streets and protest against they regime and Putin will stop this madness. Slava Ukraini!

No point in discussing weapon withdrawals until Russia withdraws from all Ukrainian territory and demobilizes its army.

Honestly, if they were REDUCING their demands to this, I’d consider it a reasonable demand.
The point of NATO is mutual defence. Meaning that if a NATO member is attacked, the idea is not that it will have missiles, the idea is that the others will come to its defence. If Ukraine was allowed to join NATO but not deploy NATO weapons systems, that’s win-win. Ukraine is protected, the rest of NATO is just as protected as it was before, and Russia doesn’t have missiles on its doorstep.
If that were all Russia were demanding, I’d say it’s a small and even fair price to pay to stop any further loss of life.
The problem is that Russia is also demanding Ukraine never join NATO, never join the EU, yield Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk, and NATO forces be withdrawn from the entire former soviet bloc. And those are ridiculous demands.
They should definitely publish it and those would be exactly what the West should deliver to Ukraine.
I might be inclined to accept not stationing nuclear weapons in Ukraine on the following conditions :
– Russia must withdraw for all territory claimed by Ukraine in the east and Crimea
– The Ukraine will join NATO and it will be permitted to station conventional forces in Ukrainian territory for defensive purposes.
– Russia will not object to the Ukraine joining the EU.
– A 100km DMZ will be set up on the Russian side of the border.
– Russia will pay for the safe removal of any unexploded ordinance.
– Sanctions will continue until Russia proves its commitment to peace.
It’s nice to see the Russians negotiating for things that NATO was already willing to discuss, but it would have been nicer if the Russians didn’t choose to kill several thousand people in a pointless war before they were willing to negotiate.
If Russia doesn’t want to see strike weapons in Ukraine, it would have been a lot easier to make that promise before Russia used cruise missiles against Ukrainian cities…
Any weapon that’s banned from Ukraine should be banned from Belarus too.
Also Lavrov: Belarus will host nuclear weapons pointing to its neighbors.
Maybe start with items that can never be deployed in your rectum when you’re in prison.
