Two years later the Russian government might notice that its bank balance isn’t quite as huge as it once was, but the Russian people won’t notice anything.
The US would be happy as their businesses are cashed-up and will be able to swoop in and buy the stranded EU businesses at a cheap price.
Yeah, close the gaping loophole that still allows SWIFT transactions to proceed if they involve buying Russian gas and oil.
