Vote with your wallet. When they learn being greedy hurts their money, they will stop.
Meal deals used to be £3.
Gather round kids while I tell you a tale of long ago when crisps were 5p.
64p with a Clubcard.
The Tesco Finest packs are usually £1 something or on offer for a £1. Vote with your wallet and either buy them or go.to Aldi/Lidl instead
Crisps are usually £1 or under at Lidl and other discount style stores, instead of complaining, vote with your £.
If you watch the share bags, they rotate to what is currently on sale.
Sensations isn’t this week, but I bet Doritos or the nice kettle chips are.
It’s just so it seems like a good deal when the clubcard price is £1.50.
a packet of crisps should be much less than £1. It’s a quarter of a potato sliced very thinly and fried in a small amount of oil for a very short period and then sprinkled with a microscopic amount of seasoning. The most expensive part is distribution and even that is pennies.
They are £1, for the size that comes in multipacks
89p at Aldi
No they should be 21pence
I’ve seen this meme so many times. Going tesco was your first mistake. Believing we had to go into lock down because of covid was your 2nd. Funding a war that no wanted to was your 3rd. So here we are £2.75 for crisps, or you cab go POUNDland and get them for £1.50
I swear as a kid there was a cheap crisp option, it’s disappeared from all shelves, I can’t even see them in Lidl/Aldi.
This is probably so that they can put it on 50% off in a couple of week. Got ya!!!
£2.50 is standard price, which is usual for non-discounted ‘premium’ crisps.
The price of everything has doubled or more. Crisps, cooking oil, chicken, meat, eggs, bread, milk. All the basics. Then they are going to put our tax up which will increase the prices even more.
Must be a Co-Op.
Kettle are similar, I snap em up at £1.50. I know not a pound but as long as I’m not paying £2.50…
I don’t know how y’all’s money is compared to ours (USA) but $2.75 for a bag of chips seems only slightly steep
Yup I already stopped buying as much junk as I can as it’s just too expensive. The plus side is I’m now in my healthy BMI lol. But the heating bill will get me next.
I’ve even just quit weed and ciggies to save money…. im honestly miserable… but healthy!
I’ve developed a severe dislike for Walkers & everything they stand for. Already shied away from them & that programme on TV did them no favours. Arrogance brings about a downfall eventually.
Is this a Tesco Express by any chance? Often they charge more than big Tesco
That’s one sensational price for sure.
£1.75 in our local Co-op and I resent paying that much.
