  1. Great news. Let people die with dignity- if that’s their choice

  2. If it’s managed correctly, and adequate checks put in place, I just can’t see why anyone would be against this.

  3. I’m very pro this, as long as adequate protection is in place to prevent coercion, and poor decision making due to mental health. There are no second chances if they get this wrong.

  4. “The historic vote, by **330 in favour** to **275 against**, comes after five hours of passionate debate during which MPs shared personal stories, while those against the bill called for better end-of-life care”

The British public have been in favour of this for years. The most recent 51% for. 16% against. The rest undecided.

  5. Should never have needed a vote to allow people to die with dignity and on their terms.

  6. As long as the safeguards in place.
And as long as it never becomes a DWP sanction.
    I’m happy with this

  7. This is a great day. I donate to Dignity in Dying every month and needed to see an improvement in the zeitgeist. Christ knows we need it.

  8. The right to die with dignity if you are terminally ill, and in pain, is a right we should all have.
This bill will also stop people facing prison for helping a loved one die.
If there are people in prison for this kind of manslaughter offence, then they should be released.
