I’ve been craving real tacos forever and I finally found all the ingredients to do so. Sourced everything at prisma. FYI tomatillo is not a tomato and it’s not authentic if the tortilla is made of wheat 😝

  1. What tortillas are those? Been searching high and low for the nixtamalized corn to make my own but no luck yet.

  2. Can you share your recipe? I’d love to try proper tacos

  3. How common is tomatillo sauce on tacos? I think I’ve never had it (even though I’ve visited California and Mexico). Sounds like something I should try.

  4. Oh fuuuuuck yeah. Did you have to homemake the tortillas?

  5. Mexican here, they look pretty solid. I wish I could have them right now.

  6. You might say that: “only God can judge me.”

But in reality God would just leave it to mob rule at this point. So just accept your fate.

    edit.

Have my upvote for being crazy enough to share this.

  7. Those don’t look anything like any taco i have ever seen. Looks more like… something that came up, rather than something that is going down.

  8. Dumb question but is that murky green salsa more legit than the red one?

  9. Try taco bell. Thats some real stuff and not as expensive as homemade

  10. That salsa verde is a bit lacking in the verde-department.

  11. oh first time seeing San Miguel in the wild. im curious if it is the same brand from the Philippines?

  12. If you live in Helsinki or close by there’s the Mexican specialty store, Dos Tecolotes, which is pretty great for tortillas, salsa, etc. Can even get some good white corn flour there for your own tortillas.
