Good. Humans should have a right to a dignified death, without the interference of religion.
Some context: this has NOT passed into law yet.
It is a private Bill which has been approved to pass onto the next stage. It can still be thrown out at any point – the critical point will come at the third reading of the Bill at which point after that it will reach Royal Assent and become law.
Don’t get hopes up yet – it’s a positive step but not near the finish line yet.
It’s very unlikely to become law.
