In the battle for bowl positioning, Nebraska leads Iowa 10-0 at halftime in Iowa City. The Huskers, seeking a seventh victory after gaining bowl eligibility last week against Wisconsin to snap a seven-year drought, have beaten Iowa once in the past nine meetings between these Big Ten border rivals.

Freshman QB Dylan Raiola led a pair of scoring drives for the Huskers, completing 10 of 14 throws for 96 yards. Nebraska drove 74 yards in 12 plays in the final four minutes of the half, getting a 1-yard plunge from Dante Dowdell to create the halftime margin.

The first half featured 10 punts, including six by Iowa. The Hawkeyes, looking for an eighth victory, managed one first down and gained 20 total yards.
