I think King Philips War was the attempt at the first America First movement.
Nah, in the 1600s it was invaded by murdering and land stealing gangs, spreading diseases, raping and killing the American people in their way en masse.

1491 would have been a great year to start limiting immigration.

Unfortunately by this point most of the indigenous population had already been wiped out at this point from diseases spread from Europe and conquest. It’s believed by this point when the English settled here that the tribes were forced into their living conditions where they became foragers because most of the tribe had already been wiped out.
