Love seeing Ecclefechan on signs when driving up to Scotland. Didn’t know they had their own tart.
Spelt Ecclefechan, but it’s pronounced Kirkcudbright..
That’s proper innit
I don’t think there are many rude words left over here
Those things are bloody delicious by the way
This is a ruse by the Scottish Satanic Society to trick people into summoning Beelzebub by accident.
Look, I’ll be first to admit the word ‘luxury’ should be whispered very quietly these days, but I’m not sure I’d go as far as saying it was a rude word.
Live 20 miles fae the Feccan and had no idea they done their own terts
What’s the green decoration in the corner?
Och just look at those ecclefechan tarts!
In Irish, Feic means “to see”, we all loved saying Feck s kids when we realised we could pretend we were revising our verb conjugations! 😉
Endorsed by Muttley from Wacky Races. One for the kids there.
Those crazy scotch!
I want an eccle feckin tart now!
👋 hi ignorant American here
What is going on here and what is rude about these tarts?
Thank you! 🦅🇺🇸🧨💥
Notice me Eccleffe-chan.
I would love to taste these though.
I love a good t#@t
The title suggested we stopped at some point…
Never heard of these before this year, when we saw that Sainsburys was doing them.
Whenever I drive past the motorway signs for Ecclefechan I am obliged to say it out loud with a really exaggerated Liverpudlian accent. It just seems to *work*.
