I’ve often wondered how these cases get seriously proven.
Last time I had some sexy time, we had both been coming on very hard to each other over the previous weeks. I remember twice in the evening and twice in the morning that we both consented to/asked for. But I had drunk over a litre of whiskey and barely remember most of it and there is a period inbetween for around 9 hours I don’t remember a thing. We also took sleeping tablets that can blur memory.
Would be very easy for either of us to change our minds or forget about consenting and make allegations that would be hard/impossible to prove or disprove.

Nothing has been proven, case is ongoing so the pitchfork brigade need to calm down.
I was staying with a friend in the USA, one day her childhood friend comes over, but this time with a young lady in tow, a burlesque dancer who was obviously stoned and/or drunk. He was married with kids, he just wanted to use my friends spare room for you know what.
They both thought it was normal, it took me, a guest who didn’t even know the guy,, to throw him out so he couldn’t take advantage.
She stayed the night, alone, I made her breakfast, took her to a bus station. She was a proper functioning alcoholic, swigging whiskey with her breakfast, had no memory of the night before, no clue how she got there, or cared that much. Not her first rodeo.
It was just people attitudes, they both thought it was in some way acceptable because she was both drunk/stoned after all and evidently willing to just go along with whatever was happening.
Innocent until proven guilty case is still ongoing so everyone calm down
