In her closing statement of the mass rape trial that has sent shockwaves across the country, survivor Gisèle Pelicot said it was time for “macho” society that “trivialises rape” to change. “I’ve lost 10 years of my life that I’ll never make up for,” she added. The trial enters its final stages this week.

  4. Many Alcoholics can not admit to themselves that they are in fact, Alcoholics.
    Many Drug Addicts can not admit to themselves that they are Addicts.
    In this case, many of the Offenders can not admit to themselves that they are in fact, Offenders.

    The offenders are not lying, they truly believe they are respectable people.
    They are "Ashamed of nothing"
    Their motto "Your body, my choice"

  6. Thanks for the update. Mme Pelicot, in court almost all of the time, week after week, shows guts and true grit Today she was glorious, but there are still weeks to go in this trial. The verdicts must make the world a little safer for women… and men.

  9. Gisele was drugged w same drugs that anestheiologists (sp) use to knock out people for surgeries. Your body does not transmit pain messages. You are out like a light and nothing will wake you. How did husband get these drugs?
