  1. I went to visit them last week and picked up a few comics I had never seen before at good prices. Also had a short convo with the owner. Will pay them another visit early Jan.

  2. Aw no, sad times, I use to go there as a teen maybe 1988-89 before They Walk Among Us opened in Richmond. I actually had no idea it was still going. Good on them but sorry they’re leaving.

  3. Can’t believe it’s not closing because of some external factor like rising rents or whatever. To see it genuinely reach end of life because the owner is retiring is a nice change.

  4. Really sad to hear. Mega City was one of the only true “Local Comic Shops” in the city. As in, a place that stocks back issues and are happy to chat and give recommendations.

The next best place for this is Dave’s in Brighton.

  5. At first hearing this I felt sad , but tbh I hadn’t been in years …Still it’s a great shop . It was always a haven for when My girlfriend had friends over to visit Camden Market. I’d be okay Ladies I’ll be in here if you need me.

  6. Oh man, such a shame! I loved that store 🙁

I will definitely have to go one last time before they’ll close!
