I have the pictured old lock installed on our bathroom door. The locking mechanism is currently just closed off by that circular white cover. I opened it up and tried having the door handle on there and yes it’s one of those locks where you can lock the door by turning the door handle upwards. (See pictures)
But I can see that I’ll probably need a specific door handle/latch for it to work and I am guessing it’s also not supposed to have 2 door handles for sure. 😁
And I have checked those small bathroom lock door knobs cannot be installed on this one.
Can anyone guide me first of all what this type of lock called in Finland so I can hopefully get some guidance in some hardware store?
Tell me or point me to some online guide how to properly install/ make the locking mechanism work properly?
