No he wasn’t right at all and he is just going with the same old Russian nonsense about how they feel threatened about NATO extending their borders but it ignores that actually is was ex soviet countries who have been asking to join NATO because their Russian neighbor is a huge bully.
Maybe once should ask why we should give into Russian demands, it is them who feel threatened by the NATO boogeyman which is kinda hilarious as it’s a defensive pact and doesn’t do anything unless you attack one of its members.
