We recently moved in Germany and been trying to figure this out for 3 days. We have to install our washing machine ourselves but we cannot figure out how to open the knob for the WM water source (left side is set up already for the dishwasher). The right side seems to be missing a knob unlike the left one?

  2. The setup above and below are identical. The top setup is missing the knob to turn it on or off. Try removing the knob from the bottom setup so you can turn it on?

It’s a bit hard to see, but I think this is not a three-way, but a two-way outlet, and both ends are taken: The source is coming out of the wall and being split into two outlets; one for the dishwasher, one for the metal mesh pipe going up. The golden colored thing on the right bottom is not a sprout, in fact it looks more like the valve for the seconds outlet, missing the knob.
