  1. As I see it, Rebel patrol forces entered the city, saw that the Syrian Army was still there, and retreated. The rebels most likely preferred not to try to advance in a large swath to Hama, but to establish control in Aleppo and Idlib and asses the situation and manage the loot they captured. In my opinion, it will take at least two or three days before they try to advance to Hama, if at all.

  2. Can we call Hama a pro Assad city?

    Itd be interesting to see if Assad can form some sort of defence.

    So far nothing has held.
