I’m planning to take the train to St Johann in Tirol from Regensburg, and take this exact route. However, there is no option to buy a ticket on the app or website. How can I buy a ticket for this route. Thanks.

  2. It’s probably because NJ (Night jet) is a sleeper train operated by the Austrian railway. It likely needs to be booked separately.

  3. The middle train is a „night jet“ which is operated by the austrian rail company ÖBB. You can only buy tickets through oebb.at.
    There, you should be able to buy a ticket for the complete trip including the german trains

  4. Because of the Nightjet I guess. Just go to obbtickets.at

  5. I mean where would we be if you could book trains through whole Europe on one plattform. Way to easy. In the end it would even be relaxed to go by train? Nobody even would want to fly anymore and we gotta think of all the poor companies going bankrupt then..! (/s…)

  6. You can try booking them on desktop website bahn.de. I have in past booked trains from ÖBB from the website but couldn’t do through the app.
