After the last 12 years I’m convinced that a significant number of people are incapable of looking at what they voted for and saying to themselves “whoops, fucked up there. Better check what I’m voting for next time.”
Nothing will change until that embarrassment turns to shame.
Last time I voted Labour, we got the war criminal. Never again. Like USA we need a new believable party but I won’t hold my breath.
My local MP, Robert Courts, has been dragged up there to lend his support and every promo shot seems to be greeted with ‘why did you take so much Russian money?’.
Not really sure how much of help that is, tbh.
In fairness to many Tory voters if they also supported Brexit they had no other choice; ukip vanished, Lib Dem and Green wanted to ignore them Labour wanted to roll the dice again until they got the result Starmer wanted.
Such a shame such a major decision was treated as a political football and only ever seen as a binary choice
People who vote Tory are very often embarrassed.
It doesn’t seem to stop them doing it again and again.
They ought to be ashamed, then angry, then vengeful.
With Sunak going full beans on tax and NI rises what is Labours plan to bring them down? Haven’t seen anything so far.
Sorry but what’s the actually difference between Labour and the Tories these days??
