  1. I’ve had about 3 hours sleep, uuuurgh. Bring coffee.

  2. Back to work after a two-week break. Our executive director has announced they’re stepping down by “mutual agreement” with the Board. The company is facing insolvency by next spring. This is fine everything is fine.

  3. I wish I didn’t sleep. It’s such a waste of my time! I could be getting so much done instead of dreaming stuff I don’t remember.

  4. I’ve got 46 pounds in my account. So, my weeks not looking all that spectacular.

It’s temporary, my arsehole hasn’t started twitching 5p 10p 20p yet, but this is the closest I’ve been to not having a pot to piss in for decades.

  5. I thought it was Saturday yesterday up until about 7pm. I genuinely felt my heart sink when I realised it was work in the morning.

Good news is that I’m the only employee who can (and does) work from home, because I just do the nerdy website/spreadsheet side of things for an online retailer. Everyone in the office has to come in and process the crazy amount of orders from the Black Friday weekend. I get to swerve that.

  6. Walked 30 miles on Friday so my legs still don’t work properly. Think I’ll work from home first part of the week then day off Friday for daughters birthday.

Also have to get sorted for Christmas including buying gifts. Usually a lot more organised but let it slide this year a bit.

Should be a great week though

  7. Got one of those colds that’s just migrating to a new location each day. Day One, the sniffles. Day two, the sneezies. Day three was the sweats. Day four seems to be the cough.

Off to Europa Park on Wednesday, hopefully it’s gone by then.

  8. Husband and I are both at the tail end of a cold, so our plans for going to the gym together today are cancelled. Took today off work, going Christmas shopping for the kids bits. This evening we are going to a light show and to see Father Christmas. Kid is 10 – wondering how many more years we get where he believes, if any.

Thursday is work Christmas party number 1. So overall this week looks like it should be pretty good. So long as I can stop bloody coughing!

  9. I think… I am getting a cold… Which I absolutely do not have time for.

  10. Just three days to go and then I don’t have to think about work again until January 6th!

  11. Can we all agree to just take December off? I really fancy hibernating for a few weeks minimum.

  12. Made some overnight oats with cherry, cinnamon and cacao nibs, which turned out very well. Was going to take today as leave, but work is pretty frantic, so hoping to get on top of things first and then hopefully do a long weekend with a shopping day to source more Christmas presents and get some nice jars so I can make bath salts with custom fragrances. Last year I think lavender, marshmallow and orange blossom was my favourite, and I actually got requests to mix more, plus I don’t think anyone’s skin fell off, so good work me. It’s only really mixing and layering ingredients, but they look pretty, smell good, and most importantly, no one can complain about a thoughtfully homemade gift without looking like a monster.

  13. Had an absolutely miserable overnight flight, just arrived an hour or so ago, now I somehow have to survive the day. I’m not working but I’ll be suffering anyway

  14. I’m going into the office, and I’m exhausted. Emotionally draining weekend! I’m meeting my sister in law for dinner after work, which I’m looking forward to.

  15. Come into work to find a shitty note left on my desk ugh 😩

  16. Haven’t slept well I’ve got the housing association putting in a new kitchen for me this week so my house looks like a bomb site.Going to be fun trying to keep the dog occupied as he normally has the run of the house. At least I don’t have to cook as my husband is bringing takeaway all week after work plus no washing up.

  17. First Monday in a while I actually had a decent Sunday sleep. Still knackered though

Might cycle up the shops if it’s dry after work. Sister in law’s Christmas request is “funky pyjama bottoms or lounge wear” so hopefully M&S will have something gift quality and not too plain
