  1. If only he could…. you know…. effectively lead his country and help Ukrainians that way it would be great. Germany effectively has a non functioning government right now.

  2. Sad that he is such a piece of shit.
He is partly responsible for the victims.

  3. I’m not going hate on Germany because no one has helped with air defence the way Germany has helped saved so many civilians

  4. Now that Scholz has seen these soldiers and knows their plight, he will sleep soundly at night after making the decision to do absolutely nothing.

  5. Its important for sholtz to get the full tour, even though he probably didnt want it. No doubt zelensky will be pointing out how many lives coukdve been saved with deep strikes

  6. I am really uncomfortable to see a man like Scholz standing along a soldier that gave his soul for his country while from the other side, although the support is appreciated, we have still a Chancellor hesitant and weak against the aggression EU is facing 🤦‍♂️.

  7. I’m always suprised how wrong Scholz looks in every picture he’s having a human interaction in.
    Like a badly programmed Robot.
Sitting there like “Did you take the picture? Good, i need it for PR. Are we done now?”

  8. Don’t hate on Scholz! At the end of the day, without Germany, Ukraine is f***.

  9. As a younger German adult and supporter of Ukraine from day one of the invasion, I am thankful for Scholz. But overall, this is such a cheap and obvious move in regard to the upcoming snap election in February. Scholz’ reluctance and hesitance, bad tongues would even say cowardice, contributed a lot to the stalemate we have today. Scholz frames this as carfeulness, but don’t let it blind you.
The Social Democrats in Germany have had ties to Russia for a long time. They claim the reason for the end of the cold war were peace talks and relaxation. What they neglect though was that armoring up gave the West the position to do so. Germany is the third largest economy in the whole world.
We could have done so much more. It absolutely is possible to send Taurus to Ukraine, he simply is too scared and deliberately lies to the population about the reasons, such as direct involvement in the war due to the claimed necessity to use technicians with missile guidance and operation. The manufactureres and industry themselves stated that this is not true. France and Britain managed to send private personnel into Ukraine to guide Storm Shadows and Scalps. Even if it were true, Scholz seems to be blinded and fails to acknowledge that we are in fact already in war with Russia. Look at all the sabotages, maybe even the recent plane crash in Lithuania. His policies are harmful and deceitful towards the German and European population.
I can only encourage all German voters to priotizing Ukraine in their election decision. Either by voting for the Greens or even CDU.
Yes, our economy is in bad shape, but it will recover. We are still a very rich country and we can afford to do so much more. Without peace and stability in Europe, this will not be possible to sustain long-term.

It also is our duty. Our nazi history is long gone, but old school social democrats mistake (relative) inaction for being moral, though this passiveness is covertly quite the contrary and shameful. Scholz is replicacting the Russian narrative, sowing doubt and fear in a population that is already predisposed to anixety and outright lying to the Population. In government, he only moderated, but was never able to lead us in unstable times. I agree with a lot of his interior politics, but his foreign policy is, simply put, dangerous. For those interested, I suggest reading into his foreing policy adivsor’s (Jens Plötner) biography and his positions on Russian relations. It is quite chilling.

If even one person reads this and goes out to vote, that’s already a big accomplishment. Democratic Europeans need to stick together and be chrystal clear and decisive in opposing Russian aggression. This is not possible under a chancellor Scholz. Putin wouldn’t have dared to pull this off with Helmut Kohl or even Willy Brandt.

  10. It’s a shame that Scholz probably won’t remember that.
