Zelensky is obviously getting as much help as he can because the weapons promised and delivered are not enough. But a nuclear power plant does not threaten all of Europe.
That is just fear mongering.
Even if it catches on fire or explodes or has a meltdown, (which it shouldn’t) it will affect the area around and the cloud will bring some radiation to other areas or even countries but by then it’s no longer lethal. Not even to embryos.
When the Chernobyl accident happened, there was a large panic across Europe and a lot of misinformation by the media. Many pregnant women in Europe had an abortion for no reason other than irrational fear.
The HBO series also continued the exaggerations and fear mongering. Nuclear power plants can go wrong and are dangerous for the immediate environment but there are no serious long distance risks.
