“So Merrick, aside from convicting my own f**king son, what have you been doing for the last 4 years?”

  1. Even Biden do not rememeber what he was doing last 4 years.

  2. the federalist society has been keeping his seat warm for him

  3. He’s been doing the exact job he was hired to do, and he did it wonderfully.

Democrats never have a problem letting power slip from their fingertips, even when they are in control. Democrats thought they could court the republican non-trump section of the voters by appointing “moderate” republicans to key posts.

Now that they have zero power in government, I guess they’ll just have 3-5 people that will fight and push and the other ones will just show up for a check.

  4. Well, he indicated him 4 times and had 4 trials scheduled. For some reason this sub believes court works like an episode of Law and Order, indicated on Monday and in court on Friday.

Fun fact: Richard Ramirez (the Night Stalker)
was indicated in 1986 and wasn’t tried until 1989. He was sentenced to death and died of natural causes in 2013 while on appeal.

The justice system is slooooooow. It fucking sucks but that is the way it is. You guys need to grow up and stop whining that Garland didn’t do anything because Trump wasn’t indicted on Jan 7th and sentenced by the 10th.

It honestly just makes all of you sound like teenagers who don’t understand how the real world works…..

  5. Biden can’t be this stupid.

    Therefore, he may be complicit.

  6. If you ever feel imposter syndrome, remember Merrick Garland who did less than you with more qualifications.

If you don’t get out of bed until the afternoon, remember Merrick Garland and how he didn’t get out of bed for four years.

  7. “I only work one month a year. I identify as a Christmas Garland.”

  8. Scooch on down, Benedict Arnold. Make room for Merrick.

  9. I hate that this acquiescence is so epitomally democratic party. The mumbled excuses and apologeticisms. I am ashamed of this establishment coward for a president. What a monumental waste of a four year term, to have this useless bumbling old man at the helm of the most important transitional era in over 150 years. Barf in my mouth Biden. He’s the softie the 1970s Carter administration would’ve loved to sandbag.

  10. “Paving the way for a fascist takeover, of course!”

  11. Wow. When you put it that way it really blurs the line between humour and tragedy.

  12. How about not convincing Trump. That’s a pretty big achievement.

  13. I don’t blame Biden one fucking bit. That man has experienced tremendous loss in his lifetime. I too would pardon Hunter if I were him.

  14. “Look, we know we are in the right on pretty much all issues. HOWEVER, we want to be nice. Those republicans sure are MAD about things we do!! So… let’s slow things down, make sure they are happy with what we do, ok? We don’t want to risk them getting upset with us. So let’s cool it on those Trump trials, see if that makes them less angry. And let’s really crack down on that Hunter guy. We think that’s a non-issue, but… if we really stick it to Hunter, maybe they will like us?”

  15. It was a trump appointed prosecutor that got the plea deal with hunter.

  16. If they would have asked any progressive, Bernie supporter, or not a dnc stiff they would have told you this guy sucks.

  17. Merrick, “What have I been doing? Not biting the hand that feeds me the really good Scooby snacks under the table.”

  18. Someone want to give me a TLDR? I thought Merrick Garland would have had a bone to pick with Trump since Trump pretty much stonewalled his nomination to the Supreme Court

  19. He didn’t want to be seen as politically bias lol

  20. Wasn’t this guy Obamas pick for Supreme Court?

  21. Merrick let the whole country down. MAGA just doesn’t realize it yet. But the historians will.

  22. This was Biden greatest failure. If Garland was not going to do it he should have fired him and put in someone who would have had Trump behind bars immediately. What an absolute joke

  23. Merrick Garland has been cashing his Russian asset checks while pretending to be afraid of the GQP. How much was he paid for his lack of work?

  24. The single greatest failure of justice and accountability in the history of the US, and now the planet has to suffer. Instead of the US leading the way in the effort against Climate Change, we instead had rednecks in Wisconsin decide that CC is a hoax
