God damn, that is a tough watch. The despair he must be feeling is indescribable. Trapped in a war he doesn’t want to wage with no means of getting out… this shit is crazy. I’d almost not even call this combat footage, but more just death porn?

This is hard to even think about, but probably a little smarter than the one who held a grenade against his chest, or anyone using a gun. Gruesome but effective.
Has anyone seen a dud grenade that exploded with less force? I’ve seen them fail to explode, but never saw one go off weakly, other than smoke grenades that took so long to get going that they never made a decent cover cloud.
This kind of behavior from the Russians makes me think of how many soldiers from WW2 did the same or if it was a common thing to do back then too
How scared and hopeless must one feel to literally hug a grenade?
When I see these videos I feel pity for some were they volunteers? Or were they dragged off the streets and thrown into a fight for a mad man with unchecked power hopefully this war ends soon before it is to late to go back
