Slightly dry seeded loaf, strong cheddar and a good dash of mushroom ketchup. I'll await my Michelin stars in the post.

  1. I’ve been making these nearly every other day for the past few months whilst cooking.

Ketchup, spread thinly over the bread; then some garlic granules spread liberally; with a handful of mozzarella grated on each slice.

Airfry for 7 or 8 minutes to make mini cheesy garlic bread.

  2. How long and what temp? And did you toast the bread first? We need details!!

  3. Does the airfryer make it better? Or is it just about saving energy

  4. Thank you, I do have a moment, in return do you have a moment for airfried crumpets? Nice and crispy on the outside, soft and delicious on the inside

  5. Looks amazing but none of those lovely crusty burnt bits. And need to get some pickle on there. But the cheese does look georgious. And the toast. MMMMMMMM

  6. I’ve been trying to get the missus to let me buy us an airfryer for literal years. She is very suspicious of the whole idea. None of my arguments about how “it’s actually healthy” seem to fly.

  7. Try it with a layer of horseradish sauce beneath the cheese, lazy and delicious!

  8. I tried this on a whim a week or two ago and will no longer do it any other way.

  9. I’m someone that likes mushrooms and a nice mushroom sauce and even I gagged a little reading the words “mushroom ketchup.”

  10. Great for kids packed lunches sometimes.

I use a bagel, or whatever else bread, and slap some ham and cheese in it, toasted ham and cheese bagel (kids are teens, they have complex taste buds!) And bosh!! The job is done!

  11. And yes, today I learned you can edit comments, but it seems you can’t edit post titles.

    Bugger.

  12. I would also recommend small-chunk pickle, or hp fruity sauce under the cheese.

  13. If popty ping is microwave in Welsh, then blasty crisp must be air fryer!

  14. It’s 3pm ish, I need to know; tea? Late lunch? Afternoon snack?

  15. My old airfryer would just whip up a tornado inside and fling the cheese off to the side

  16. I don’t know if my air fryer is too powerful but it always just blows the cheese off, any tips?

  17. But where is the Maillard reaction?! That cheese is to pale if you ask me…

  18. I’ve not done cheese on toast, but i have done toasties before, or a grilled cheese as the americans would have it

  19. I was squinting at the picture trying to see knuckles, but that must just be the way I read it

  20. Since buying an air fryer I would now never do cheese on toast any other way. My wife just purchased a new double air fryer today so now I can make cheese on toast and croissants at the same time!

  21. Been doing this for over a year already, whack on some air fried bacon cut into shreds whilst you’re at it.

  22. Mushroom Ketchup is so much better than Worcestershire sauce on cheese-on-toast & I will die on this hill……with like a handful of other Mushroom ketchup enjoyers.

  23. I remember when I realised you could microwave cheese on crackers in the microwave. Big deal as a 11 year old.

    This is better.

  24. Let’s stop pretending that ‘air fryers’ are anything clever.

They are small ovens that better suit smaller meals and cheese on toast is perfectly in line with that.

Iv just actually read you post and you can get tf out with the god awful sauce.

  25. I must obtain a bottle of mushroom ketchup now.

  26. Yuuup. Butter and marmite on the bottom. Worcester sauce on the top (chefs kiss)

  27. I see you’re in to the culinary arts. I for one tried to do corn on the cob in the airfryer but I forgot I didn’t have spices so I substituted the spice for a Mi Goreng seasoning packet from some instant noodles I have. Needless to say I also consider myself a culinary genius.

  28. I tried this, and the air fryer blew the cheese off the bread. So I got toast and a mess.

  29. I prefer my cheese on toast grilled. Fire makes it taste better

  30. It’s great when it doesn’t blow the cheese off the toast!

  31. oooooooo you kinky bastard! That’s tomorrows breafast that is, multi-grain seeded batch, mature cheddar and, wait for it, and some crumbled stilton and then some sriracha!

  32. I had air fryer cheese on toasted bagel for lunch. Toasted cheese crumpets with marmite in the air fryer are a massive win too

  33. And air fryer cheesy crumpets with a dash of Marmite are pretty awesome too.
