Netmore Group, a leading global LoRaWAN network operator, announced that Digita, a Finnish technology company specializing in broadcast networks and telecom services, has selected Netmore’s Operator Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) to expand, optimize, and scale its LoRaWAN network capabilities for the delivery of Internet of Things (IoT) applications in Finland.
Digita, the leading domestic network operator, provides comprehensive infrastructure for IoT services, including a nationwide public LoRaWAN network and private network build-outs tailored to customer needs. With numerous digital transformation deployments across the utility, district heating, smart building, and logistics sectors, Digita chose Netmore’s PaaS offering to reduce the number of systems required for IoT connectivity. This decision not only streamlines operations but also enables Digita to benefit from economies of scale through Netmore’s platform, which supports some of the largest carrier-grade LoRaWAN networks worldwide.
Through international roaming cooperation, Digita can now expand its IoT services beyond Finland into markets where Netmore and its partners operate LoRaWAN networks. Simultaneously, Netmore customers gain immediate access to Digita’s network, fostering new business opportunities in Finland and providing Digita with additional revenue streams.
