Israel-Iran war: In a matter of good news for Israeli and its defence sector, the Israeli defense company Rafael, which makes the Iron Dome air defense system has received orders for the next 4 years. Due to the ongoing war between Israel and Iran, the Israeli company has received orders worth about US $ 15.8 billion. As per a report by Navbharat Times, the company’s earnings have increased significantly compared to last year.

For the unversed, during its conflicts in the recent times, Israel is using Iron Dome extensively to prevent attacks from Gaza to Lebanon. The company’s CEO, Yoav Turgeman, recently celebrated a boost in earnings due to improvements made in the workplace.

The past year saw the intake of an extra 1,800 new people to the team, bumping the company’s manpower up by a sizable 10 percent. Turgeman also shed some light on the future plans, highlighting that contracts for defense systems tend to stretch over longer durations and shared the company’s ambition to further enhance its capabilities.

Palestinian death toll from Israeli attacks in Gaza rises to 44,429

The Palestinian death toll from the ongoing Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip has risen to 44,429, with 105,250 injured, Gaza-based health authorities said in a statement released on Sunday. Over the past 24 hours, Israeli military operations in Gaza led to 47 deaths and 108 injuries, according to the statement.

Gaza’s government media office said on Sunday that a journalist with the local Quds News Network was killed in an Israeli attack on the besieged enclave, taking the overall death toll of media practitioners in the Gaza Strip to 192 since October last year.

Palestinian official news agency WAFA reported on Sunday evening that the Israeli army had launched attacks on the western part of Gaza City, killing five people and wounding many others.

A joint announcement by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) on Sunday said that earlier in the day, an Israeli air force warplane launched an air strike in Jenin of the West Bank, killing a Palestinian armed personnel. The Palestinian Ministry of Health confirmed that a total of four Palestinians were killed in the air strike.
