Recently a lot of people asked where their shelter is.
My canton said on it’s website that the information will be published if the situation asks for it. And they had a link that led to an empty website.
Very recently (probably today or yesterday) the website behind that link is no longer empty. Now you can enter your adress in order to get the adress of your shelter.
But guess what: There is none.
Let’s just hope that this is not the next crisis after Covid that hits our lethargic authorities unprepared, causing unnecessary casualties.

Edit: I just tested it for all the other numbers on the same steet as mine. It’s rather ridiculous. Our house number is one of only two houses that have no shelter assigned. So almost all of our neighbors have a shelter. BUT: the assignements are all over the place. Almost every house has a shelter at a completely different location than it’s neighbor. Some of them literally at the complete other end of the city – 90 minutes by foot from here. There must be a complete mess in that database.
