  1. There are 7 villages on the Eastern side of the Euphrates that are held by mixture of Regime and Iranian militia elements. US have been pushing SDF to move here as they’ve been a platform to attack nearby US forces

This offensive has been conducted by the Arab forces within the SDF

  2. Same people getting bombed by theal qaida enablers I mean turkey

  3. Looks like Phosphorus Artillery Shells for smoke screen.

  4. So the SDF is fighting against the Assad regime but also fighting turkish backed HTS/SNA? Who’s responsible for the larger offensive against the Assad regime?

  5. These White phosphorus Airburst artillery shells. Not aircraft.

The US has used them before in Syria and Iraq, quite controversially. They are officially labelled as obscuration rounds to be used as a smoke screen, but the US forces have been known to them as incendiary to drive enemy combatants out of fortified positions. Seems quite likely that’s the case here as these guys look like they are waiting to assault
