Poland mentioned ..(last year if I’m not mistraken) that it will send troops for active combat roles if Kyiv is threatened.
What I do see happen is advisory/training roles in Ukraine itself, Not for my Britland alone, but in a combination of nations (not only NATO) supporting it )

there aren’t many press titles in UK who do have a handle on the big picture situation in Ukraine
the Mirror, and the other tabloids, similarly, do not fall into that category
