  1. Legal systems around the world seem to only serve capital and not people nor the environment. I appreciate the effort environmental lawyers and activists are making in trying to have the law grant personhood to animals, rivers, the land, etc. but it’s decisions like this Supreme Court’s abandoning responsibility that are at best misguided and at worst, indifferent and corrupt. It’s actually insane as a species our flagrant disregard for nature and the biosphere that supports all life.
