  1. But a verbal offer “not one inch eastward” is the real deal according to pro rus.

This signed memorandum? Who cares, amiright?

  2. The UN is useless

“4. The United States of America, the Russian Fed- eration, and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, reaffirm their commitment to seek immediate United Nations Security Council action to provide assistance to Ukraine, as a non-nuclear-weapon State Party to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons, if Ukraine should become a victim of an act of aggression or an object of a threat of aggression in which nuclear weapons are used.”

    Fixed it

  3. The memorandum that isnt worth the folder it is in.

  4. Quite the power move there. That is why it would be pointless to sign more agreements, in return for territorial concessions… agreements that Russia would not honour, whenever they feel like it…

The Western powers need to assist Ukraine with a complete and total victory to gain all of their land back. Anything less than that would be a Russian victory… which would be rewarding Russian conquest and genocide… a disaster…

  5. If russia is involved in diplomacy, it’s just a really inefficient toilet paper factory.

As for the west, Obama doing nothing in 2014 ended future generation hopes of nonproliferation. Nobody will be so stupid to give up nukes in exchange for words that mean nothing. If Obama had a security team and foreign policy team worth anything they would have made big moves then. Similar to Biden’s response being sloth as fuck, cause it’s the same mouth breathers that fucked nonproliferation in 2014.

Didn’t even need to be lethal aid, just sanctions that we have now would have crippled russia by now… so long as Germany cancelled their gas pipelines, but Schoder and Merkel were equally short sighted or willfully ignorant. Boomers as world leaders were the fucking worst.

  6. Good idea to remind us that Ukraine wouldn’t be in this situation if we’d honoured it.
